The Vanderbilt Initiative for Scholarship and Global Engagement (VISAGE) combines the university's deep commitments to international study and civic engagement through innovative scholarship and service opportunities abroad. In the summer of 2011, 16 students travel to South Africa to learn, share, and extend a hand in partnership with members of the Cape Town community.
